    Sariska Safari Booking Details

    All the procedures of the Sariska Safari ride for Jeeps and Canters are fully administered and managed by the Sariska Tiger Reserve forest officials. The tiger reserve area is divided into multiple safari zones or routes which can be entered from 3 different Sariska gate (Core Zone), Telha gate (Core Zone), Baraliwari gate (Buffer Zone), Bala Quila Gate (Buffer Zone).

    Kindly note that choosing the safari driver or naturalist guide is not in our hands. All these are solely decided by the forest officials on a random basis managed by the automated computerized system to make sure the distribution of Sariska safari vehicles is equal in every zone. 

    According to the current Sariska National Park Safari Booking policy, 15 jeeps of 6 seaters and 15 Canter of 20 seaters are allowed to enter the Sariska Tiger Reserve from Sariska Gate and 5 jeeps each from Telha & Baraliwari Gate in one shift. At Sariska, the safari tours are of 3.5 hours of duration and  are allowed in two shifts; morning shift and Evening shift. You have the choice to choose your safari shift time.

    The Sariska tiger reserve online safari booking is done on a first-come, first-served basis and you must pay the full fee in advance for the Sariska Tiger Reserve safari booking. The vehicle is allotted on the day of the Sariska Forest safari and the fee for a confirmed seat in a Jeep or Canter is non-refundable and non-transferable.

    Most of the visitors ask which safari zone or gate is best in Sariska and how to choose the one. The answer to this question is very simple.The Tiger population is almost equal in every zone or gate, and so is the probability of sighting them.

    That is why it is alway recommended to choose the safari gate near to your stay location as the distance between the safari gates in Sariska is quite far.

    Jungle Safari in Sariska and Its types:

    There are 2 types of safari in Sariska, Jeep Safari & Canter Safari. Both the safaris are operational in 2 shifts Morning & Evening and the duration for safari is generally 3.5 hours.

    Jeep Safari Jeep safari in Sariska is done via 4 by 4 maruti suzuki gypsy, which can accommodate max 6 visitors in a gypsy excluding driver and guide. If you want to capture and experience the wildlife closely, then it is a recommended option for you. 

    Canter SafariCanter safari is done in an open mini bus, which can accommodate max 20 visitors excluding driver & guide. If you are coming in a group, and you don’t want to spend on multiple gypsies then canter is the best option for you.

    Chances to Tiger Sighting in Sariska:

    The increase in the Tiger population every year has increased the chances of Tiger sightings in Sariska.

    If we take a rough percentage, 60 to 70 % of the visitors will see a tiger in Sariska.

    Summers have higher chances of Tiger sightings in Sariska as compared to winters, as the temperature shoots up to 46 degrees and the big cat can be seen in and around water bodies.

    Step 1 – Check Availability:

    As soon as the safari availability is confirmed, kindly fill the visitors details like, Name, age, Nationality, Id type, Id Number

    Step 3 – Make Payment :
    Last & the final step is to make safari payment, as soon as the payment is done voucher would be generated and the safari boarding point location would be shared.

    Sariska Safari Boarding Procedure :

    On the day of the safari visitors have to reach the boarding point 10 mins prior, and will find our representative who will assist them with the safari vehicle & guide.

    Things to keep in mind for Sariska Safari Booking:

    • You have to pay full fees for safari booking in advance.
    • ID proof is a must for every visitor.
    • No refund or cancellation is permitted on confirmed bookings.
    • Booking is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged with anyone.
    • You must carry the same ID card that you have submitted during the online booking.
    • The difference between Sariska Gate and Telha Gate is 68.9 Km.
    • Choosing a gate depends on your stay or which gate is near to your stay. If you are coming on a day trip then consider Sariska Gate. 
    • The child age 5 and below are exempt from the safari charges.
    • Your Safaris can be booked 365 days in advance.
    • Passport details are mandatory for foreign tourists for making reservations.
    • A Safari permit is issued on a first-come, first-serve basis (subject to availability).
    • Park may be closed without any prior notice to visitors.
    • In case of any revision of fees after the booking or incomplete occupancy visitors will be liable to pay the difference at the time of entry into the park.
    • The visitors are required to report to the boarding place 10 min before the scheduled departure of the safari.
    • There is a heavy rush on weekends and holidays so it is always advisable to book safari and hotels in advance.
    • The morning safari usually starts half an hour after the sunrise and the Evening safari concludes half an hour before the sunset and the night safari an hour after sunset.
    • The timings changes accordingly with the changing of seasons. Each safari is allowed for a maximum of three and a half hours.
