Jeep Safari in Sariska

A jeep or gypsy is a 6-seater 4 by 4 vehicle, open from all sides. Jeep Safari in Sariska is available for both morning and evening slots from both the gates (Sariska Gate & Telha Gate). There are 3 eco-tourism zones in Sariska, and a jeep safari is allowed in each of them. 

Doing Safari via gypsy is recommended to enjoy wildlife sightings in Sariska National Park.  At one time, 20 jeeps from “Sariska Gate” & 8 Jeeps from “Telha Gate” are allowed in Sariska. The difference between both the gates is 68.9 Km, choosing a gate depends on where you are staying. If you are coming on a day trip then consider Sariska Gate. 

Gypsies are privately owned and are registered under Sariska Forest Department. If you are coming to Sariska in a small group, then a jeep safari would be ideal for tiger sighting, birdwatching, and photography in Sariska.

Jeeps are booked online 90 days in advance after providing essential details and ID proofs. However, last-minute online safari bookings can not be done. Jeep safaris in Sariska are available between 1st October and 30th June (Core Zone).
