Currently, there are 2 gates in Sariska Tiger Reserve namely Sariska gate (Gate no. 1) & Telha gate (Gate no.2 ). If you are coming from Delhi, Gurgram, Jaipur, or Alwar city gate no. 1 is recommended to enter Sariska and if you are looking for an entry in Sariska nearby Bhangarh fort, Nealkanth or Mansarovar dam then gate no. 2 is advised.
Yes, you are allowed to take your own car inside Sariska Tiger Reserve but only on Tuesdays and Saturdays just to visit the ancient Pandupol Hanumanji’s Temple. While taking your car inside Sariska you have followed certain rules of the forest department.
Rules are as follows :
- You are not allowed to step out of your car until and unless you reach the temple.
- You are not allowed to blow the horn, or to play music in the car.
- You are not allowed to take your car on the safari tracks.
- You are not allowed to feed animals inside the park.
In case you violate any of the rules, the forest department can impose a huge fine on you.
Yes, the Sariska tiger reserve is open in the month of July for visitors. But visitors are only allowed to do Jungle Safari in the buffer Zone of Sariska tiger reserve as core zone is closed from 1st July to 31st September.
